Developing a habit of mindfulness and meditation helps us control our body’s natural fight or flight responses. Through regular practice we reduce stress, calm our heart rates, reduce blood pressure, and the harmful release of cortisol. What can you do in 7,300 minutes? Today, we have more opportunity for growth, personalization and the realization of ANY dream we have than ever before in history. The accessibility of resources is astounding. It’s time and focus that challenge us. Our time is so shredded, we spend little of it purposefully curating our lives and who we are. Each day, we jump right back into the routine onto the hamster wheel. Because that’s what we’re supposed to do– right?

Yes, (we are responsible adults)…AND… imagine for a moment, pausing, taking stock— Where am I today?  Where do I want to be tomorrow— then imagine carving out just 20 minutes a day– every day– and spending it on new habits that develop you into who you want to be and/or be more of.  At the end of a year, you would have spent 7,300 minutes more than 0, on becoming you. That’s powerful!

I’m looking for a few volunteers to participate in a free 3-hour pilot of a workshop. I want to kick the tires, so to speak and I want to find out if you find it helpful. It may be in-person, depending upon who volunteers, it may be online, if people from beyond NJ/PA are interested. Either way, it will be outside of working hours (M-F 8:00-5:00 ET).

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COACHING AND THERAPY?

Coaching is forward-focused. It is a professional relationship between a coach and an individual, group or company that is designed to help move people forward in their achievement of goals. With established frameworks, the thought-provoking process helps clients develop their own insights, derive greater clarity and the motivation to achieve results. It’s not professional therapy, which is often focused on the past— healing past pain.
